A Bit About Me
Hockey is My Life
Getting in shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can make. I believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness; and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the benefits of fitness is worth the discomfort.
Since age 3 I've played hockey and during the winter months was on the ice pretty much daily my entire childhood/teen years. And even in my 30's my love for hockey has not slowed down, if anything it has only accelerated even more. And my hope with my business is to help excel the athletes of tomorrow and see clients of mine make the big show in their sport!
I have developed my training program for hockey players who want to improve on all aspects of their game from power, speed, balance/edgework, stickhandling skill and strength on puck, and always love adapting my program to a new clients needs.
But I am not only limited to hockey as I can make programs for any athlete doing any sport, or just anyone looking to get in better shape, or get in shape for upcoming events such as weddings, vacations, or just helping get in shape post-isolation from Covid-19.

One on One Experience
With many people not wanting to go to a gym because of anxiety being in large groups and feel like people are watching and judging them, there isn't that issue at Bar Down Fitness as it is just us in my personal gym.
Sport Specific Training
Being a huge athlete my whole life makes me love training fellow athletes. I can make personalized programs for any sport from hockey, sledge hockey, volleyball, basketball, baseball, rugby, football, swimming, and many more.
Muscle Building and Weight Loss
I've always loved packing on muscle and I'm sure you do too. I can make muscle building programs, or if you just want to tone up. Also make routines to keep the heart rate up and burn tons of calories to help boost weight loss and fat burning! I make every program personally customized for you and your goals.
I'm in my 40's and haven't lifted weights since my teenage years and I started training with Curt and started seeing gains after only a few weeks, and after 8 weeks saw my max Bench Press go up by 30 lbs!
